I have been running about 3-4 times a week for the past couple months. I would feel pain in my left knee during or after almost every single run. I thought it was my body just getting used to running instead of walking, or that maybe I needed new shoes. I visited Dr. Gonzalez and he helped me with core and hip strengthening exercises that made the pain go away. Dr. Gonzalez also recommended that instead of just doing a 3 mile run, that I mix up my exercise routine with some speed runs mixed with walking and jump roping. I am a high level collegiate track athlete and have had multiple injuries over the course of my prep and collegiate careers. I have typically seen a physical therapist for my injuries in the past, but at the suggestion of my college coach, I decided to see Dr. Gonzales for a plantar fascia problem in the fall of 2012. He quickly healed my injury in just a few sessions, and I continued to see him for routine maintenance, tissue work and corrective exercise throughout the rest of my track season. Dr. Gonzales is awesome and has proved to be a key proponent to my running health and success on the track. I know I will be back to see him consistently throughout my running career.

Excellent service and rehab facility, soft tissue work is amazing. Active Release Therapy is great for maintenance on your body, especially for tight areas. Sebastian is very knowledgable on sports injuries and very understanding about what you’re going through. His weightlifting methods to strengthen the body for functional movements are revolutionary in the chiropractic/ therapy field. I would recommend a consultation with him even if your looking to improve athletic performance.

All I can say is that Dr. Sebastian Gonzales is the best sports chiropractor/ therapist! You can shop around for cost all you want but I can tell you I wasted tons of money and lots of time going to multiple doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists only to be misdiagnosed and told to do the same stretches I’ve been doing for years and/or to quit running (not an option!). It was only after I found Dr. Gonzales that I got better! Don’t waste your time & money looking somewhere else! Go get better!
