This Cookie Policy explains how Sebastian Gonzales Chiropractic Inc DBA Performance Place® Sports Care (“we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.p2sportscare.com (the “Site”), and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Our approach: nothing optional loads without your consent

This Site uses a strict opt-in consent model. When you first visit, a consent banner asks which categories of cookies you allow. Until you make a choice, no analytics, advertising, or marketing technology loads and no data is sent to those providers — not a reduced or “cookieless” version, none at all. Continuing to browse is not treated as consent, and the banner never dismisses itself on scroll or after a delay.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage (which stores preferences on your device without transmitting them) and, where you enable them, tracking pixels operated by third parties. This policy covers all of these.

Categories we use

Necessary (always active). Required for the Site to function; these cannot be switched off:

p2-course-session — keeps you signed in to your purchased course content after passwordless login. First party. Expires after 30 days.
p2-consent — stores your cookie choices and a random receipt identifier that links your choice to our internal consent record, so we do not re-ask on every page. First party. Expires after 12 months.
Stripe (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) — set only on checkout pages by our payment processor for payment processing and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
Browser local storage for your theme (light/dark) and accessibility preferences — stored on your device only; never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Functional (opt-in). Third-party features that enhance the Site. Content embeds that store nothing optional load by default: our team-page videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) player, our resources page includes an embedded highlights section served by our page provider (HighLevel) that sets no optional cookies, and podcast audio streams from our podcast host (Libsyn) only when you press play. Any feature that would set optional cookies is covered by the other categories on this page and does not load without the relevant consent.

Analytics (opt-in). If you enable this category, we load Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager), which sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to help us understand how visitors use the Site. Nothing is loaded or sent to Google unless you opt in.

Marketing (opt-in). If you enable this category, advertising and campaign-measurement tags may load and may set cookies. These include Google Ads, which may set cookies such as _gcl_au, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which may set cookies such as _fbp and _fbc and reports page views, booking-form submissions and completed purchases to Meta so we can measure and target our advertising. These advertising tags do not load at all on our product pages, article pages, podcast episode pages, course pages, checkout, downloads, or site search, so the pages reported to these platforms do not reveal which health topic you were reading about. Our form provider LeadConnector (HighLevel) may also load automatically on any page that embeds one of its forms (see “LeadConnector forms” below). These involve sharing information with advertising platforms, which California law treats as “sharing” of personal information. Nothing in this category loads unless you opt in, and we honor Global Privacy Control (see below).

LeadConnector forms

Our booking form, and the other signup and access forms on the Site, are provided by LeadConnector (HighLevel), the customer-relationship platform we use to manage new client requests. Because loading one connects your browser to LeadConnector’s servers and can set cookies (including attribution cookies with names beginning sbjs_), it is covered by the Marketing category. If you have enabled Marketing cookies, the form loads automatically as part of that consent. Otherwise it does not load until you click the “Load … Form” button on that page (for example “Load Booking Form”), which is your consent for that service on that visit. If you prefer not to load it, you can always call us instead.

Managing or withdrawing your consent

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing a category stops its technologies from loading on future pages and removes the cookies they set that are under our control. Your choices are stored for 12 months, after which we ask again; we also re-ask whenever this policy materially changes. You can additionally clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information under California law. If your browser sends GPC, the Marketing category stays off even if you click “Accept All.”

Your privacy rights

California residents can also submit a request to know, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
