The 3 Diagnostic Categories of Hip and Groin Conditions
Pinchy hip, grippy hip flexor, or pain that starts in your back?

Who this is for
Does this sound like you?
- Your hip pinches or stops when you bring your knee toward your chest.
- Your hip flexor or glute feels tight, sore, or “always on” no matter how much you stretch it.
- Pain wraps from your upper glute into your groin, inner thigh, or even the testicle, and your MRI came back normal.
- You have been told impingement, labral tear, or tight hip flexors and are not sure which one you actually have.
What you will learn
Three categories, one first-aid move each
- Internal hip: what impingement and labral problems feel like, why pelvic position makes the pinch worse, and the resting position that takes pressure off the front of the hip.
- External hip: why the tight hip flexor, glute, or IT band is usually an underuse problem, not a tear, and the banded glute bridge and pulse routine that shifts the load, dosed hard enough to matter.
- Referred pain: how the upper lumbar nerves send pain into the groin and genital region, and frog breathing to release the tourniquet on the nerve.
- Why a normal x-ray or MRI is good news, and why “overuse” is the wrong word.
- The MAP a Load framework: modify pain, activate support, pattern movement, add load. The first aid is the starting point, not the fix.

“I am so relieved to find your sports medicine team and webinars. I have been in PT for months and no one told me these things. I have done the first level as described in the webinar and I must say it has made a difference. Dr Sebastian and Dawn are simply amazing. I thank you for what you do!”
